This one had a perfect example of Dotymath(tm). 4th edition had a really neat way of figuring out how to balance encounters, so I greatly enjoyed statting out the monsters for this adventure. Turns out I understood about 0% of what I had read and created a total-party-kill-with-absolutely-no-chance-of-success encounter with a hill giant as the campaign's first encounter. Had to stop the game and re-do that one on the fly.
